If what you just saw in the video was the actual upcoming iPhone 6, we’re willing to say you’d have a customer waiting list longer than you can imagine. The reality of the matter though is that the iPhone 5 is currently their flagship phone, and their depending on its success.

Apple is slowly losing the mobile war to Android, but in no way has Apple seen its end just yet. In fact, Apple has somewhat of an unlikely fan. At least if you call a competitor that loves your products, unlikely.Young Sohn is a high level Samsung officer. He’s Chief Strategy Officer. In a recent interview with BI Sohn expressed his adoration for Apple in divers manners.  Sohn said that he has “always used Mac”. He uses one at home, and he uses an iPhone and iPad as well… Of course he also has his Samsung Galaxy too though.

It’s understandable that Sohn would have so many devices. Especially ones from the competition. It would actually behoove and Chief Strategy Officer to do likewise, but most people are not looking to spread out their device use among a phone, tablet, desktop and notebook. Admiration of iPhones by Samsung Execs won’t keep Apple in business though and consolidation is what the consumer of today is looking for, and that may be the primary reason why Apple is having problems.
For the price to consolidate all those devices into one Apple device, many people could purchase an Android phone and two Android tablets and still have money remaining.

Apple recently began selling the iPhone in China. Apple also made it known that they would be introducing the Wi-Fi versions of its iPad Mini and fourth-generation iPad as well. China is of the utmost importance to Apple when it comes to world-wide sales. China accounted for nearly 24 billion dollars in revenue for Apple (fiscal year ending September 2012). China is Apple’s most second cherished market, next only to North America, but a report released that made clear just how popular (or unpopular, you can say) the iPhone is in China. It ranked No. 7, with the Chinese favoring generally less expensive devices from other companies.

Although, Young Sohn likes his Apple products, we’re sure he’s pleased to know that Samsung has a 20.8 market share in China and that Android in general has control of 81 percent of all China’s smart-phones. Apple has a lot of catching up to do, but even a lower selling price doesn’t guarantee a sale, so no one is certain just how they can accomplish it.
